TL;DR

Junior Data Scientist (iGaming): Build models and machine learning algorithms from concept to production deployment with an accent on data analysis, ETL pipelines, and communicating insights to stakeholders. Focus on designing data models, monitoring production systems, and delivering high-impact analysis for automated sportsbook platform.

Hybrid: three days a week in Chiswick office (London, UK) and two days remote

What you will do

• Build models and machine learning algorithms, taking ideas from concept to live production deployment.
• Analyse data to uncover trends and patterns, presenting insights clearly and commercially.
• Design and develop data models and ETL pipelines for machine learning initiatives.
• Act as key contact for data queries, becoming a trusted expert organisation-wide.
• Monitor and maintain production models for optimisation and reliability.
• Shape your impact autonomously with team support on meaningful projects.

Requirements

• Degree in STEM subject, ideally Master’s level.
• Experience with SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and practical application.
• Experience cleaning, structuring, analysing, and visualising data from multiple sources.
• Experience developing cloud-based machine learning solutions.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
• Ability to communicate complex data science concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering data science projects end-to-end in commercial environment.
• Experience with recommender systems.
• Familiarity with e-gaming industry (sports betting, casino).
