What you will do

• Develop and evolve social media strategy aligned with brand and business objectives, including channel roles, success metrics, and content roadmaps.
• Plan and oversee content calendars optimised for social platforms, maximising existing assets and championing test-and-learn approaches.
• Manage community engagement, social listening, and trend analysis to inform teams and build long-term trust.
• Ensure all content complies with regulations while balancing creativity and effectiveness.
• Line-manage Senior Social Media Executive, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across marketing, PR, and customer service teams.
• Manage organic social budget and integrate with paid social strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading social strategy at scale in a regulated environment (financial services ideal)
• Strong background in organic social across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn
• Experience managing and developing teams, plus stakeholder influence
• Deep platform knowledge, social analytics, content production workflows (especially video)
• Commercially minded with brand building expertise
