What you will do
- Design tailored BESS and EMS solutions for clients, integrating electrical and civil engineering principles.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal technical project configurations.
- Create Single Line Diagrams to ensure solution clarity and define demarcation between involved parties.
- Provide technical expertise and support to sales colleagues to facilitate client acquisitions.
- Manage sub-contracted EPC parties and ensure a smooth transition to the assigned project manager post-signature.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to create customized client solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Proven experience in a sales engineering role, preferably within the energy sector.
- Strong understanding of BESS and EMS technologies and their applications in C&I settings.
- Must be based in or able to work in Oxford, United Kingdom (Hybrid).
- Ability to travel for site visits as required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of technical standards and connection specifications of network operators (TSO’s/DSO’s).
