Salary: $300,000 - $360,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end accounting for network equipment, data center buildouts, and related capital assets, including monthly close and CIP tracking.
• Apply technical accounting expertise under ASC 360 regarding capitalization, useful lives, impairment, and asset retirement obligations.
• Partner with Real Estate, Legal, and Finance teams during contract negotiations to determine accounting implications.
• Design and scale systems, processes, and controls to support a rapidly growing fixed asset portfolio.
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
• Drive process automation and efficiency by leveraging AI tooling.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably at technology or infrastructure-heavy companies.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of ASC 360 as applied to data center or compute-related assets.
• Experience managing significant fixed asset portfolios in high-growth environments.
• Proven track record of leading and developing accounting teams.
• Ability to translate technical accounting concepts for non-finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience at hyperscalers, data center operators, or telecommunications companies.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying large infrastructure and accounting datasets.
• Background in Big 4 accounting or advisory services.
• Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure cost structures and experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude) for accounting automation.
• Experience with supply chain or inventory accounting.
