What you will do

• Lead a team of technicians in the fabrication, assembly, and modification of test articles, including precision drilling and bonding.
• Supervise the configuration of test fixtures, instrumentation, and control systems for development tests.
• Execute and monitor hazardous test operations, including troubleshooting and real-time data recording.
• Capture and analyze test data to identify anomalies and provide detailed reports to engineering teams.
• Maintain, calibrate, and repair data acquisition systems, process controls, and electrical instrumentation.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine test plans and support root cause analysis for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical experience in aerospace/automotive testing or complex electromechanical assembly.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• U.S. Person status required (Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee) per ITAR regulations.
• Ability to stand/stoop for up to 8 hours per day and carry up to 50lbs unassisted.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in engineering, mechanical, or electrical systems.
• Proficiency with Teamcenter and NX.
• Experience with National Instruments PXI/cSeries and PLC.
• Knowledge of analog and digital instrumentation (load cells, strain gauges, accelerometers).
• Experience with rigging, cranes, lift operations, and military-grade harness fabrication.
