Lead Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Must be based in Redondo Beach, CA (Onsite)

Salary: $25.50–$50.00 per hour

What you will do

• Build complex electrical harness assemblies for aerospace and defense applications.
• Provide technical and operational direction to a team of technicians to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Demonstrate proper assembly techniques and mentor apprentice technicians.
• Inspect hardware in-process to ensure strict conformance to specifications.
• Assign and prioritize daily tasks based on the production schedule.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics teams to streamline production processes.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible under ITAR regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of experience as a technician in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficiency in reading complex wire harness schematics and determining order of operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of soldering, wire stripping, contact crimping, and harness routing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, work order management, and BOM structures.
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with IPC-620 or NASA STD 8739.4 standards.
• Previous experience working at a contract manufacturing company.
