Team Lead, Corporate Accounting

What you will do

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accuracy and strong financial controls.
• Lead and mentor a team of Corporate Accountants, managing capacity and career development.
• Coordinate consolidated and subsidiary audits while ensuring SOX compliance.
• Drive process redesign and automation, integrating AI to improve accounting efficiency.
• Partner with FP&A and Financial Reporting teams to align budgets and technical accounting positions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role or public accounting audit.
• CPA designation and a B.Comm in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong IFRS knowledge.
• Fluency in English and French required.
• Experience with complex technical accounting, such as leases and commission capitalization.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NetSuite.
• Experience with SOX reporting.
• Experience working with publicly traded companies in fast-paced environments.
