What you will do

• Prepare molds and forms and cut tape, woven material, and honeycomb following templates and specific dimensions.
• Perform routing, drilling, trimming, and sanding to blueprint dimensions and tolerances.
• Vacuum bag parts for room temperature cure and assist in the lay-up of composite materials.
• Assemble aircraft components using structural adhesives, rivets, and threaded fasteners.
• Apply spray application of epoxy paints and urethane coatings using high-volume low-pressure spray guns.
• Prepare resin mixes and catalysts while maintaining accurate records and a clean work area.

Requirements

• US Citizenship required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Familiarity with machinist hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a loud manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate, read, and comprehend written and verbal instructions.
