Configuration Management Specialist

TL;DR

Configuration Management Specialist (C4I/Defense): Managing the lifecycle of MSC C4I assets and technical baselines in accordance with DOD and DISA standards with an accent on configuration change control and technical data management. Focus on utilizing CMLS and ShipCLIP systems to process additions, changes, and deletes for afloat and ashore assets.

What you will do

• Collect, categorize, and maintain work products according to DOD and DISA knowledge management standards.
• Manage the lifecycle of MSC C4I assets afloat and ashore using the Approved Property System of Record (APSR), specifically CMLS and ShipCLIP.
• Process all configuration changes (adds, changes, and deletes) through CMLS/ShipCLIP feedback functions.
• Provide configuration management and change control, managing Configuration Items and technical baselines.
• Perform configuration planning, identification, status accounting, and verification audits.
• Control design changes associated with the MSC transport architecture.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• 4-8 years of directly related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years for B.S. equivalent).
• Must be based in or able to work in Norfolk, VA for a hybrid arrangement.
