Systems Engineer (Fire Control Systems)

Location: On-site in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, with an option to work from home a couple of days per week; US citizenship required

Salary: $34.15–$49.35 USD per hour

What you will do

• Modernize existing and future strategic weapons platforms as part of a cross-functional Strategic Weapons Control team.
• Apply fire control systems engineering experience to defense program development.
• Manage system requirements, documentation, testing, verification, and validation.
• Plan and perform hardware and software integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Generate technical reports and design review packages.
• Provide engineering leadership and collaborate across disciplines and with customers.

Requirements

• US citizenship and the ability to pass background checks required to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in STEM with at least two years of related experience, or a master's degree with at least six months of related experience.
• Fire Control Systems experience.
• Experience with system requirements, documentation management, testing, verification, and validation.
• Experience with hardware and software integration, planning, testing, troubleshooting, and report generation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, cross-discipline engineering knowledge, and design review package development experience.
