What you will do

• Design, implement, and enforce security guardrails for engineering teams utilizing AI tools and features.
• Oversee and optimize the security scanning ecosystem (SAST, SCA, container security) using GitHub Advanced Security and CodeQL.
• Integrate AI into internal security workflows to build smarter and more efficient tooling.
• Maintain PR security review processes and enhance internal tooling to flag high-risk code changes.
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver secure business outcomes and track impact via response metrics.
• Participate in design reviews and security assessments, producing actionable reports.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in application security and integrating security into SDLC at scale.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with GitHub CI/CD best practices.
• Extensive experience with Python and solid familiarity with Java and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of the AI security landscape, including LLM integration with tools and agents.
• Strong analytical skills to architect secure solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not provided.
