Junior Accountant (Fintech)

What you will do

• Review and process vendor invoices and manage internal approval requests.
• Record payroll, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and recurring journal entries.
• Support monthly reconciliations to maintain clean and accurate books.
• Import and categorize expenses across various accounts.
• Assist the Finance team with month-end close activities and tax support.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve or automate operational workflows.

Requirements

• Current student or recent graduate in Accounting.
• Basic knowledge of GAAP, including accruals and journal entries.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• English proficiency is required.
• Must be based in LATAM.
• Ability to provide 5–6 hours of overlap with Eastern Time.

Nice to have

• Experience with accounting tools like QuickBooks.
• Prior experience with invoice processing or month-end close activities.
