US GAAP Accountant (Finance)

What you will do

• Record and maintain financial transactions and the general ledger in QuickBooks.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Support month-end close activities and prepare reports for internal review.
• Assist with basic US taxation, including sales tax and required documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance).
• 2–4 years of experience in a US GAAP accounting environment.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, and AP/AR processes.
• Flexibility to work in US shift (5 PM - 3 AM IST).

Nice to have

• Experience working directly with US-based clients.
• Exposure to payroll accounting or compliance support.
• Familiarity with ERP or other professional accounting tools.
