What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of approximately 20 engineers, including direct reports and section managers.
• Manage project assignments to ensure completion within technical, cost, and schedule constraints.
• Conduct performance reviews and monitor career development for direct reports.
• Champion continuous improvement in design and development processes.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
• Foster and lead design reviews to ensure adherence to internal standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of technical experience in circuit card design, electronic enclosures, or FPGAs.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (current clearance preferred).
• Proven track record of managing and leading engineering teams.
• Must be able to work onsite in Elma, NY.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
