What you will do

• Develop and evaluate methods to assess quality of input material for spatial transcriptomics assays including RNA extraction, DV200 profiling, H&E imaging, and RNAscope profiling.
• Pilot methods to adapt spatial transcriptomics workflows for high-throughput profiling of cultured cells.
• Implement imaging-based spatial profiling methods such as 10X Xenium combined with RNAscope and multiplexed immunofluorescence.
• Support self-service imaging instrumentation through user training on widefield, confocal, and light sheet microscopy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in assays, proposing next steps independently.
• Document, compile, and analyze experimental data; present at team meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of related work experience, or Master’s degree.
• Experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related field.
• Experience with fluorescence microscopy and imaging.
• Strong wet lab skills; experience with tissue processing (histology) and computational analysis is a plus.
• Great teamwork skills and ability to engage with external collaborators.
• Highly independent and resourceful.

Nice to have

• Experience in imaging or spatial genomics.
