What you will do

• Perform preventative maintenance on laboratory plate washers and plate readers.
• Execute receipt, verification, accessioning, aliquoting, and storage of clinical and pre-clinical samples.
• Document all laboratory activities and observations in accordance with GLP/GCLP, SOPs, and protocols.
• Monitor freezer temperature conditions and participate in the on-call response rotation.
• Manage electronic and physical inventories for samples, reagents, and supplies.
• Handle sample transfer and return requests via professional communication with customers.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Biology or related field, or a High School diploma with equivalent experience in a regulated laboratory/CRO (min 1 year).
• Training and experience with Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) techniques is required.
• Ability to work onsite in a laboratory environment, including cold storage areas and standing for long periods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
• High precision pipetting skills and ability to operate standard lab equipment.
• Ability to participate in an on-call schedule for freezer monitoring.
