What you will do

• Conduct laboratory research in molecular and biological sciences.
• Perform nucleic acid extraction, purification, and quantification.
• Prepare and quality-control NGS libraries, including bulk RNA-seq and amplicon-seq workflows.
• Prepare single-cell and single-nucleus RNA-seq libraries using multiple platforms.
• Perform qPCR, sequencing, data quality control, and experimental documentation.
• Coordinate laboratory work using automation systems and maintain organized records.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in biological sciences, biochemical sciences, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of laboratory research experience.
• Strong experience with molecular biology, NGS technologies, sequencing, and data quality control.
• Direct experience with single-cell and single-nucleus RNA-seq library preparation is required.
• Familiarity with platforms such as 10X Genomics Chromium, Illumina PIP-seq, ScaleBio, or Parse Biosciences.
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and electronic laboratory notebook documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with CRISPR-based gene editing and high-throughput screening.
• Experience with laboratory automation systems, including Mantis, Integra, liquid handlers, SPTLabtech Firefly, or Tecan.
