Accounts Receivable Associate

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; work from the Lisbon office at Parque das Nações one day per week

What you will do

• Import sales invoices from multiple billing systems into NetSuite.
• Manage automated bank transactions and analyse variances.
• Support direct debit and collection processes, including reports for in-country teams.
• Maintain and analyse AR balances, suspense accounts, and AR and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare standardised and ad-hoc reports for group and local audits.
• Contribute to special projects and continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounts receivable experience.
• Good understanding of European GAAP and IFRS.
• Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proof of eligibility to work in Portugal is required; relocation packages and visa sponsorship are not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in an international finance environment or a Finance Excellence Centre/Shared Service Centre.
• Knowledge of other European languages.
