What you will do

• Take overall responsibility for all elements of the internal finance function.
• Implement and manage the month-end close process and cut-off.
• Perform month-end bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Support external accountants with monthly reporting requirements.
• Manage credit control, sales ledger, and purchase ledger.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns and handle payroll administration.

Requirements

• Experience in management accounts.
• Proven background in purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control.
• Direct experience with VAT returns.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Stockport.
