TL;DR

Business Development Associate (Sales): Engage quality addressable market accounts and prospect potential new business through call and email outreach to book product demos with an accent on qualifying leads and driving deal closure. Focus on needs analysis, discovery sessions, and documenting interactions in CRM to support sales cycles.

Location: Onsite in Singapore office 5 days/week, full-time during training

What you will do

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly outreach goals including demo and call volume while providing excellent client experience
  • Connect with prospects via written and verbal communication to book initial and additional product demos and expand sales cycles
  • Drive engagement using personally crafted messages, marketing materials, and tools like Outreach and Highspot
  • Act as consultant to understand prospect needs, conduct needs analysis, and qualify leads
  • Collaborate with Senior Business Development Representatives on client needs and end-to-end sales process
  • Document all prospect interactions in Salesforce to improve customer experience and drive closures
  • Follow up on inquiries and support company initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ year of successful sales experience, preferably with technology products
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
  • Interest in financial markets, particularly private equity and venture capital
  • Strong prospecting skills, sense of urgency, prioritization, verbal/written communication, and negotiation abilities
  • Self-motivated team player proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
