TL;DR

Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days in office in Pittsburgh - Moon Township

What you will do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive contracting strategies for payer and provider agreements.
  • Lead the negotiation, renewal, and execution of contracts across Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, ACOs, and IDNs.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with payer partners, network managers, and governmental bodies.
  • Monitor and interpret federal and state healthcare regulations affecting DME to advise senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure contract terms are operationally achievable.
  • Oversee contracting KPIs, reimbursement outcomes, and payer performance trends.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in strategic healthcare contracting, payer relations, or reimbursement (DME experience strongly preferred).
  • Deep understanding of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement structures, managed care, and value-based arrangements.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements for DME suppliers.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating with national and regional payers.
  • Ability to work hybrid (2-3 days in office) in Pittsburgh - Moon Township.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.
