What you will do

• Lead the General Ledger function across all German entities.
• Manage the full monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process under HGB and IFRS standards.
• Ensure the accuracy of journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Deliver validated financial data and reporting packages to Group Accounting.
• Drive consistency and reliability in core financial accounting processes.
• Manage, lead, and develop a team of 5–6 FTEs.

Requirements

• Strong experience in General Ledger Accounting in multi-entity environments.
• Previous leadership experience or clear readiness to step into a team lead role.
• Deep knowledge of HGB (IFRS knowledge is a plus).
• Fluent in German and English.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Workday Finance is considered a plus.
