What you will do

• Partner with the CFO to shape the global accounting strategy and build scalable processes.
• Modernize the finance technology stack by designing and implementing AI-powered automation.
• Lead multi-entity accounting and group consolidation across Germany, the US, and Canada.
• Drive tax and compliance excellence, ensuring audit readiness across all operating markets.
• Build and lead a high-performing accounting team through coaching and accountability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years leading teams.
• Proven track record in modernizing accounting functions through process optimization and technology.
• Extensive experience in multi-entity accounting and intercompany group consolidation.
• Hands-on experience with German tax requirements and familiarity with US/Canada tax structures.
• Experience leading annual statutory audits across multiple jurisdictions.
• Must be based in Berlin to support the hybrid work model.
