What you will do

• Lead a team of software engineers through the full SDLC to build next-generation applications and platforms.
• Manage budget, resources, and tool selection to support the evolution of the product.
• Develop professional and technical learning plans to grow the team's capabilities.
• Define and monitor metrics to measure delivery against business and service level objectives.
• Collaborate with Business Operations partners to drive automation and process improvements.
• Act as a servant leader, removing blockers and focusing on high-level architecture and strategy.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in software development, including architecture and coding.
• Proven experience working within a large and complex business environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and manage performance.
• Knowledge of IT governance and regulatory landscapes for financial institutions.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting strategies to senior executives.
• Ability to work hybrid in Arlington, TX (2 days per week onsite).

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field.
• Experience leading software development projects and people.
• Expertise in stacks such as .NET, Java, Go, Angular, Node, Azure DevOps, or Terraform.
