TL;DR
Head of Self-Serve & Product-Led Growth (Legal AI): Own and scale self-serve / PLG revenue line end-to-end with an accent on ICP definition, strategy, experimentation, funnel optimization, and cross-functional alignment. Focus on designing GTM strategy, running rapid A/B tests and cohort analysis, and building structured playbooks and automations for repeatable growth.
Location: Must be based in the United States or Canada. Remote role, hybrid (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) if within ~50 miles of San Mateo, CA or Provo, UT offices.
Compensation: $300,000 – $350,000 OTE (base + commission + equity).

What you will do
- Own full self-serve P&L: hit quarterly/annual revenue targets for sign-ups, activation, paid conversion, and expansion.
- Design self-serve GTM strategy: ICP, onboarding funnel, pricing experiments, growth loops.
- Run rapid experimentation: A/B tests, cohort analysis, funnel optimization, growth levers like paid acquisition and SEO.
- Partner with Product on roadmap for activation features, onboarding UX, Slack bot, usage analytics.
- Collaborate with Marketing on top-of-funnel acquisition and Sales on handoff rules for enterprise expansion.
- Define metrics (conversion, activation, LTV:CAC), build playbooks, automations, and transition to scalable motion.
Requirements
- Based in US or Canada.
- Experience in AI, developer tools, or productivity SaaS.
- Background at top-tier consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), PE/VC ops, or early-stage startup founder/operator.
- Experience influencing product roadmaps for self-serve activation/expansion.
- Familiarity with AI and growth technology platforms.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, high-ownership, quota-carrying in fast-paced environment.
