Location: Chicago, IL / New York, NY - Remote (any location). Willingness to work North American hours.

What you will do

• Analyze risks and evaluate internal controls with cross-functional teams, supporting internal audit and business operations.
• Own remediation plans from discovery to completion and perform control assessments and spot checks.
• Monitor risk trends in transaction flows, parties, services, and markets.
• Document controls, mitigations, and conduct audits to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Assess risks from vendors, jurisdictions, regulations, and competitors, developing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate across departments and review data/reports for external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in risk, audit, or closely related field
• Ability to conceptualize abstract concepts, communicate effectively, and identify trends in data
• Experience in financial risk management, cryptocurrency settlement/custody/markets, data security/privacy, or fintech product go-to-market
• Dependable, self-directed, with strong interpersonal skills
• English language proficiency
• Willingness to work North American hours
