Senior Product Manager (Payments)

TL;DR

Senior Product Manager (Payments): Owning the money movement infrastructure for fiat, crypto, and stablecoins with an accent on bank API integrations and ledger bookkeeping. Focus on designing end-to-end payment flows, automating reconciliation, and ensuring BSA/AML compliance for global expansion.

Location: Remote (any location), strongly preferred to be in a timezone +/- 3 hours of US East Coast time

What you will do

• Own the strategy and roadmap for money movement, prioritizing payment rails and partner needs.
• Design end-to-end payment flows, including API contracts, ledger impact, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Manage integrations and ongoing operations with banking partners and payment service providers (PSPs).
• Collaborate with Engineering to build production-ready systems and with Ops to automate exception handling.
• Partner with compliance and risk teams to ensure flows meet BSA/AML requirements and money transmission regulations.
• Write detailed technical specifications and API documentation for internal and client-facing use.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Product Management.
• Strong background in building API-based products and a deep understanding of the ACH network.
• Ability to write SQL queries and analyze transaction data effectively.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and tools, specifically Jira.
• Excellent technical communication skills to translate product requirements for engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience building crypto or stablecoin products.
• Prior background in software engineering or sales engineering.
• Experience developing consumer-facing fintech applications.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
