Business Analyst

TL;DR

Business Analyst (Agile/SAFe): Develop user stories, manage product backlogs, and analyze business processes for a large federal government project supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs with an accent on EDI transactions and enterprise workflows. Philadelphia, PA - Remote (within location). The candidate must reside within the continental US.

What you will do

• Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria by collaborating with stakeholders.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to align with business goals.
• Support sprint planning and ongoing stakeholder communication.
• Analyze business processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with development team to design software solutions addressing business needs.
• Oversee testing, validation, and maintain project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, technical discipline, or relevant field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional analyst experience.
• Demonstrated experience as Business Analyst in Agile environments, particularly SAFe.
• Expertise in EDI transactions, analyzing and validating EDI data in enterprise workflows.
• Proficiency in software development processes, requirements gathering, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• SAFe/Agile certification (Certified SAFe Practitioner).
• Experience with VA or other government agencies.
• Ability to obtain government clearance.
