Business Analyst (eCommerce)

TL;DR

Business Analyst (eCommerce): Serve as liaison between eCommerce business unit and development teams to define and document business requirements by breaking down features and performing gap analysis. Focus on creating executable stories, participating in scrum ceremonies, and maintaining tight feedback loops between stakeholders and developers.

What you will do

• Participate in discovery sessions, surveys, and user testing to understand problems and convey requirements to development teams.
• Create and maintain product documentation including customer journey maps, technical specs, and process mappings; define MVP and business requirements for product roadmap.
• Perform gap analysis on new features and collaborate with design, development, and product teams to resolve gaps.
• Support development team by quickly resolving questions, managing expectations, and keeping communication channels open.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical/business experience.
• Minimum 4 years' experience with Agile development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Asana, and Agile methodology.
• Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and simplify technical complexities for business users.

Nice to have

• Software engineering or AEM experience.
• Product ownership or business analysis experience.
• Project management, group facilitation, data gathering, and software lifecycle phases experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and deep understanding of product vision.
