Director of Customer Engineering (AI): Own the technical relationship with strategic customers and FAEs, turning their silicon needs into precise requirements for hardware and software teams. Focus on coordinating customer-specific NEO silicon configurations, overseeing RTL changes, and driving collaboration between customer and internal teams for reliable delivery.
Location: Hybrid, based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; Austin, TX; or Belgrade, Serbia. Offer contingent upon eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology; restrictions apply to nationals of certain countries (EAR Country Groups D:1, E:1, E:2).
Compensation: $100k - $500k including base and variable.

What you will do
- Own technical customer relationships and convert high-level asks into concrete engineering specifications.
- Coordinate with hardware and software leads on customer-specific NEO silicon configurations.
- Oversee RTL changes and NEO customization to meet customer requirements.
- Drive collaboration between customer silicon teams and internal design verification for reliable delivery.
- Align customers, FAEs, and internal teams around shared technical goals.
Requirements
- Experienced leader of customer-facing technical teams and Field Application Engineering organizations.
- Strong background across RTL, verification, and physical design for custom silicon programs.
- Systems thinker understanding how RTL choices affect software, performance, and customer solutions.
- Clear communicator aligning customers, FAEs, and internal teams.
- Eligible for U.S. export-controlled technology access per EAR regulations.
