What you will do

• Develop and execute category strategies for Services spend, including supplier identification and cost driver analysis.
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes, negotiate commercial terms, award contracts, and ensure compliance.
• Drive measurable cost savings and value creation initiatives at both site and corporate levels.
• Establish supplier performance metrics and conduct periodic business reviews.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Quality, EH&S, and Legal to align procurement strategy.
• Develop risk mitigation plans for critical suppliers to ensure supply continuity.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Middletown, DE for the hybrid schedule.
• BA/BS in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
• 5+ years of direct and/or indirect procurement experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling).
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in Business or Supply Chain.
• Professional certifications such as APICS, CPM, or CPSM.
• Experience in chemicals, life sciences, biotechnology, or regulated industries.
• Experience with e-procurement platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
