Compliance Specialist (SaaS): Managing customer compliance, security, and regulatory requests to accelerate sales cycles and ensure audit readiness with an accent on vendor questionnaires and evidence coordination. Focus on maintaining compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR), managing the Vanta platform, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Location: Hybrid in Düsseldorf, Germany (2 days office, 3 days remote per week)

What you will do

• Own and complete vendor assessments, security questionnaires (DDQs, TPQs), and bid documentation in German and English.
• Act as the primary compliance point of contact for the Sales team to enable faster deal cycles and smoother renewals.
• Coordinate and maintain audit evidence for ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, PCI DSS, C5, and customer-specific audits.
• Manage the Vanta compliance platform, ensuring evidence, controls, and framework mappings are accurate and up to date.
• Build and maintain a structured internal knowledge base of standardized responses to reduce ad-hoc drafting effort.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks: ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, C5, and GDPR.
• Experience completing vendor assessments and working with SaaS security/cloud environments.
• Fluent written and spoken communication skills in both German and English (professional/business level required).
• Ability to translate complex compliance requirements into clear, customer-friendly responses.
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing multiple concurrent deadlines.
