Director, Solution Strategy (DNS): Lead development of mission-aligned, human-centered solutions for Defense and National Security sectors with an accent on federal RFPs, acquisition processes, and systems integration. Focus on translating complex mission needs into actionable strategies, guiding multi-disciplinary teams through business lifecycle, and developing winning proposals.

Location: Hybrid in Columbia, MD, Eastern Time Zone (9 AM - 5 PM ET), occasional travel (<5%)

Salary: $171,600 - $240,000

What you will do

• Lead development of compliant, innovative solutions for mid-to-large federal programs based on RFP analysis.
• Drive business design including market/mission analysis, solution visioning, and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with capture, proposal, and delivery teams to shape pursuits and define winning strategies.
• Develop solutions addressing opportunity needs, outcomes, and impacts in Defense and Homeland Security.
• Guide teams in creating narratives, architectures, prototypes, and demos to demonstrate solution value.
• Act as technical volume owner for RFIs, RFPs, market surveys, and white papers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related
• 15+ years in solution strategy, business design, or systems integration in federal/DoD/DHS sectors
• Proven success leading solutions for complex federal RFPs in DNS community
• Deep knowledge of government acquisition, proposal compliance, and contracting
• Strong communication, storytelling, analytical, and proposal writing skills
• Active Secret or higher security clearance strongly preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Experience leading cross-functional strategy/technology/design teams
