What you will do
- Review global policies and develop local compliance standards to align with Australian legislative requirements.
- Provide SME advice on non-financial crime risks, including Privacy, Record Keeping, and Banking Code of Practice.
- Deliver thematic reviews and provide second-line oversight of compliance risks, incidents, and breaches.
- Prepare reporting for senior management, boards, and governance committees.
- Partner with Risk Training to design and deliver practical compliance training programs.
- Represent the company at industry forums and participate in regulatory change projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Compliance or Risk Management within financial services.
- Sound knowledge of Australian regulatory obligations (Corporations Act, ASIC Act, Privacy legislation, and Banking Code of Practice).
- Expertise in risk and control frameworks and conducting compliance assessments.
- Proven ability to interpret complex legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
