What you will do
- Build and maintain successful long-term relationships across the entire customer journey for enterprise clients.
- Develop technical strategies based on customer business priorities, cloud architecture, and operational models.
- Act as a primary technical advisor for deployments, operational planning, and risk management.
- Serve as a cross-functional advocate, connecting customers with Support, Engineering, and Product Management.
- Conduct regular operational reviews, including root-cause analysis and security vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with Sales on account planning and pipeline growth strategies.
Requirements
- Deep conceptual and hands-on expertise in Apache Kafka and at least one of: PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or OpenSearch.
- Proven background in technical consulting, pre-sales, or technology sales.
- Fluency in Java, Python, Go, or Ruby.
- Experience with public clouds (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Linux OS, and networking basics (DNS, VPC).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to execute detailed action plans.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to meet customers and partners in the EMEA region.
Nice to have
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Experience with database migrations, specifically from Oracle to PostgreSQL.
