Cybersecurity Intern

What you will do

• Assist with risk assessments and mitigation strategies for factory PLC and SCADA systems aligned with IEC 62443.
• Support secure manufacturing by protecting the provisioning of cryptographic keys, certificates, and firmware onto devices.
• Track SBOMs, assist with threat modeling, and integrate security checks into software and firmware development pipelines.
• Develop a Python and AI automation agent to synchronize OT asset data with the enterprise management platform.
• Support vulnerability management, network segmentation reviews, firewall rule reviews, and L1 support for SSE and EPM solutions.
• Assist with incident remediation in China, supplier security assessments, documentation, asset inventories, and SOPs.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• Foundational knowledge of secure coding, cryptography, IoT or embedded device security, and application security testing.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DNS, and DHCP.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux, plus foundational knowledge of web applications, databases, servers, storage, and embedded systems.
• Basic Python scripting skills and interest in applying AI and LLMs to security automation and code analysis.
• Fluent Mandarin and strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.

• Experience or coursework related to manufacturing security, product security, or industrial control systems.
