TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Cybersecurity/SaaS): Generate new business through inbound and outbound activities, collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for assigned territories. Focus on conducting high-level discovery calls with C-suite executives, articulating product value, and handling objections across phone, email, and SNS channels.

What you'll do

  • Engage prospective customers via phone to identify opportunities in mid-market and enterprise accounts.
  • Run sophisticated sales processes from prospecting to closure, including high-level discovery calls with C-suite.
  • Drive new business opportunities and become a cybersecurity expert and thought leader.
  • Master competitive selling, objection handling, and go-to-market strategies with marketing and partners.
  • Provide high-touch customer service and stay informed on competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • Inside sales or new business sales experience in IT/SaaS industry.
  • Cold calling and outbound activity experience with track record of exceeding targets.
  • Experience in planning, executing, and improving sales activities independently.
  • Technical aptitude to quickly learn new technologies and concepts.
  • Competitive yet collaborative team player with strong presentation skills (in-person/online).
  • Telephone sales experience; persistent, coachable, charismatic, quick-witted, creative, motivated, self-disciplined, and self-aware.

Nice to have

  • Security or SaaS sales experience.
  • Customer service background.
