Location: Remote (Spain), with sporadic optional in-person meetings in Sant Cugat or other client locations.

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineers and product owners to translate complex technical topics into user-friendly language for various stakeholders.
• Organize and maintain a structured repository of Data Platform documentation in Confluence.
• Create version-controlled templates to standardize documentation and ensure quality standards.
• Define and maintain workflows for requirement collection, prioritization, and approval to ensure full traceability.
• Document release management processes, including deployment pipelines, versioning, and rollback strategies.
• Develop post-production support materials such as Service Runbooks, Incident Response SLAs, and on-call checklists.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer within data engineering or software engineering domains.
• Expertise in documenting technical processes related to requirements, release workflows, and support.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Proficiency in Git, Confluence, SharePoint, and Markdown editors.
• Excellent oral and written English proficiency.
• Must be based in Spain.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, cloud platforms, and APIs.
• Experience using AI to auto-generate documentation.
