Technical Writer Lead

What you will do

• Collaborate with Product Management, DevOps, QA, and stakeholders to produce high-quality technical documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
• Author new content based on requirements, user stories, specs, developer input, and hands-on product use
• Curate, proofread, and enrich documentation with screenshots, flowcharts, and visuals
• Lead software implementation projects per hirify.global methodology, with SME review
• Monitor release calendar, plan updates, ensure version control and storage
• Collect feedback from support and services teams, mentor juniors, research product changes

Requirements

• Fluency in English (certificate preferred)
• Minimum 3 years as Technical Writer or equivalent in software development
• Proficiency in Atlassian Confluence and Jira or similar tools
• Systematic approach to learning and documenting business applications and technology
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum workflows
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, time management, continuous learning

Nice to have

• Basic coding/scripting, API/REST/SOAP documentation, PL/SQL knowledge
• ML/AI tools for content creation
• Experience in insurance or fintech
