Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Filament Winding)

What you will do

• Define, document, and release manufacturing procedures and work instructions for filament wound components.
• Design and develop production tooling and mandrels, including collapsible, soluble, or bladder solutions.
• Control critical process parameters such as fiber tension, resin content, and winding angles.
• Develop and maintain machine programs and define production readiness requirements.
• Create special process documentation and support non-destructive testing (NDT) like ultrasonic and radiographic inspection.
• Manage material supplier qualification and lot acceptance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in composite manufacturing or filament winding.
• Must meet U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR).
• Ability to work extended hours and lift up to 25lbs.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in composite manufacturing or filament winding.
