Career And Financial Coaching Intern (Workforce Development): Assisting employment specialists in supporting the self-sufficiency of refugees and immigrants with an accent on job search assistance and interview preparation. Location: Hybrid (Baltimore, MD USA). Must be able to work in the office at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Work one-on-one with humanitarian immigrants to identify employment barriers and navigate the U.S. job search process.
• Prepare clients for interviews through virtual coaching and group job readiness training sessions.
• Collaborate with the economic empowerment team to create and implement employability plans for all clients.
• Identify potential employers through online research and cold-calling.
• Assist clients with transportation coordination and the completion of new hire paperwork.
• Maintain service documentation through detailed case-notes and file management.

Requirements

• Fluency in English required; bilingual ability in common local client languages is desired.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle with insurance for regular travel throughout Baltimore.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based applications.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and global environment.
• Prior experience or interest in workforce development and working with refugees/immigrants preferred.
