TL;DR

Sr Tools & Implementation Specialist (Construction Training): Lead development, deployment, and optimization of craft and staff training programs for Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), WorkFace Planning (WFP), and digital construction technologies with an accent on workforce competency, tool adoption, and process implementation. Focus on creating advanced curricula, delivering field mentoring, coaching project teams, and driving continuous improvement in training strategies.

Location: Field-based in KS, US (on-site project assignments up to 2-6 months with travel)

What you will do

  • Lead development and implementation of training programs for craft and staff to enhance competency and compliance.
  • Create and improve curricula, materials, and e-learning for AWP/WFP workflows targeting coordinators, superintendents, and supervisors.
  • Deliver training via classroom, workshops, field mentoring, and virtual sessions; coach teams on best practices.
  • Track training progress, evaluate outcomes, gather feedback, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Safety, HR, Quality, and Field Operations; prepare communications and reports for leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in leadership, training, instructional, or construction operations role
  • Open shop and/or union experience; direct hire experience required
  • Extensive hands-on experience in construction, project management, or industrial field operations
  • Strong knowledge of AWP/WFP, work packaging, and field execution processes
  • Proficiency with InEight Plan & Progress, Procore, Microsoft Office, LMS, and virtual platforms
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills

Nice to have

  • 7+ years field operations experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Education, or Engineering
  • Experience leading training professionals or developing curriculum
  • Certifications like Certified WorkFace Planner or AWP University
  • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional leadership skills
