What you will do

• Lead and prepare detailed cost estimates (lump sum, unit rate, cost plus) for proposals and project change orders.
• Specialize in estimates for Advanced Generation, Battery Storage, Utility Solar, and Fuel/Natural Resources.
• Conduct analytical reviews of estimates to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain the estimating database and implement process efficiencies.
• Mentor and train early career professionals in the estimating team.
• Travel to active project sites to perform audits and quality checks.

Requirements

• 8 to 20 years of relevant experience in engineering or construction.
• 3 to 5 years of specific estimating experience.
• Strong skillset in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I).
• Practical field and/or project experience in industrial settings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding, including criminal background checks and drug screens.

Nice to have

• Experience with estimating software such as SAGE Timberline or InEight.
• Proven ability to manage multiple professionals and complex projects simultaneously.
