What you will do

• Perform complex troubleshooting, specialized tests, and inspections on electrical apparatus and systems.
• Lead large-scale projects including UPS acceptance tests and commissioning of larger DC systems.
• Conduct detailed power surveys and provide technical electrical consultation.
• Perform installation and start-up services on all UPS and DC/Battery systems.
• Develop detailed technical reports and accurately process job billing.
• Mentor and train other Field Service Engineers within the region.

Requirements

• BSEE or BSME degree with 6+ years experience, or relevant technical/military education with 9-10 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and NFPA standards.
• Experience with power quality surveys and switchgear testing through the 500 kV class.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.

• Specialized skills in drive systems or complex control systems.
