Location: Onsite in Clayton, North Carolina, USA (5 days per week in office). Domestic relocation assistance is available.

What you will do

• Lead the development of customer-back technology visions to solve complex challenges in construction products.
• Drive technical requirements for next-generation electrical/software platforms, remote operations, and autonomous systems.
• Leverage AI to optimize product development and validation processes.
• Provide technical leadership and manage relationships with the global supply base and internal business units.
• Resolve complex, multi-departmental technical problems through cross-divisional collaboration.
• Stay current with regulatory environments for assist and automation systems in off-highway industries.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Must be based in or eligible to work in the US; Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Expertise in onboard software, control systems, and electrical system development.
• Strong knowledge of autonomy systems and AI methodologies for product development.
• Experience with construction or mining machinery and their application environments.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical needs into strategic proposals.

Nice to have

• Master's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Experience providing technical mentorship and skills development to colleagues.
• Proven track record of delivering technical products from concept to customer.
