What you will do

• Implement and modify Building Management System (BMS), Electrical Power Management System (EPMS), and critical SCADA systems.
• Oversee the operation of chillers, pumps, and power distribution using PLCs and industrial control technologies.
• Prepare specifications and graphics standards for Human-machine Interfaces (HMI) to be interpreted by Grok.
• Develop and maintain automated controls for fire safety and emergency shutdown procedures (ESOP).
• Build corporate reporting dashboards to monitor operational trends like PUE and dynamically adjust infrastructure set points.
• Coordinate with utility providers to automate operational responses to upstream grid events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Controls, Computer Science, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Controls Engineer with industrial control systems.
• Experience with Ignition SCADA and Siemens TIA Portal PLC programming.
• Ability to work onsite in Memphis, TN, including standing for long periods and working in tight quarters.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Subject to pre-employment drug and random drug and alcohol testing.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in IEC 61131-3 languages, specifically structured text and ladder logic.
• Experience with hardware from Siemens, SEL, or Rockwell.
• Familiarity with HMI/GUI development using Ignition or SEL.
