What you will do

• Interface and build up electrical and mechatronic systems within conventional automotive vehicles.
• Test, troubleshoot, and debug complex electromechanical systems and add-on modifications.
• Manage in-field documentation and record data on testing techniques and specifications to assist engineers.
• Perform autonomous vehicle bring-up and basic software updates at customer locations.
• Coordinate issues with remote hardware teams, local mechanics, and test engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with soldering, ingress protection, and wiring harnesses.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems, repair, and air brake systems (specifically semi-trucks).
• Physical ability to lift more than 40 lbs.
• Travel requirement up to 30%.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, or transportation.
• SMT soldering and hand board assembly skills (solder paste, ovens).
• Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators.
• General knowledge of materials and their mechanical properties.
