What you will do

• Design, integrate, and validate hardware for self-driving trucks
• Build schedules and create specifications for new hardware projects
• Develop assembly and test procedures for vehicle subsystems
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers for component delivery
• Lead design reviews and manage engineering changes
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across development stages

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years experience designing products for production
• Familiarity with GD&T, engineering drawings, and documentation
• Experience with CAD software (Solidworks, Fusion 360, NX)
• Designing sheet metal and machined parts for harsh environments
• Basic hand tool knowledge and excellent communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with plastic injection molding
• Passion for AI, robotics, and self-driving cars
• Startup, robotics, or logistics experience
• Familiarity with machine shops and automotive systems
