What you will do

• Design and build custom software in Go to enhance platform reliability, resiliency, and redundancy.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed reliability principles and improve service availability and observability.
• Identify infrastructure improvement opportunities and implement technical solutions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to troubleshoot, mitigate, and escalate production issues.
• Develop and refine SRE tooling and processes with a focus on automation.
• Define and champion reliability best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical applications in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Go, including the ability to write custom applications.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and ArgoCD.
• Expertise in a major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, SQL/NoSQL databases, and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of core SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
