What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable high-quality applications for the Loan Origination and Servicing platform.
• Own features end-to-end, from initial architecture and development through to testing and deployment.
• Architect and evolve the core stack consisting of Python, FastAPI, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Translate complex business and product requirements into elegant and reliable technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvements in system performance, reliability, and CI/CD practices.
• Mentor other engineers to foster a culture of engineering excellence and accountability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep proficiency in Python (3.6+) and modern frameworks like FastAPI.
• Strong expertise in SQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience developing and deploying containerized applications in AWS environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be based in the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience in real estate finance or financial services.
• Familiarity with event sourcing and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
